Glinka estate-museum in Novospasskoe is the only memorial museum of the great composer, the founder of Russian classical music. The park of the estate is unique and inimitable: numerous flower-beds, cascades of ponds, arbors, a mill, a greenhouse, the island of muses and the field of Cupids. There is a museum exposition in the spacious house, that tells us about the life and creative work of M.I. Glinka. The acting family church of the Glinkas is the place of interest of the estate.

Glinka musical fastival is held annually in the Smolensk region at the end of May – the beginning of June. Tne complition of the festival is held in Novospasskoe..
